Ribbon Give-away and Revamping my Space (part 1)
One of my "to do" this year was to repaint my craft office white after we had our Annual SuperBowl Party. Well as Maroon 5 says best "it's not always rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along". Ok, not really a "compromise" but life isn't always perfect. So instead of tackling a huge project of emptying out the room entirely and pulling down shelves to paint, I have decided just to go through all my stuff and reorganize and (I hate this word!) purge--ahh the horror!!
The first project I plan to tackle is my ribbon stash. Here is my little stash:
The Best Scrapbook Buddy Ever gave me this cassette holder that holds my inks and ribbon. Here are 88 spools of my ribbon...not to bad, right? If that is all I had...here is more of my stash:
I will never ever use all this ribbon...ever!!! So, I have decided to only keep some of each spool. First I though 1 or 2 feet, then I thought, might as well keep a whole yard...or 2 yards :D. I know I am so bad! But only 1 or 2 yards, then I will place them around some chipboard like so:
These will then fit back into my cassette shelf. It feels so great already.
Now I have lots of ribbons that I have to give away. So if you leave a comment, I will randomly choose 2 lucky winners on Friday, March 5 to receive a big bag of ribbons galore.
ha ha ha...yes, I am totally aware that I only have 2 blog readers :D
